My experience with Care Excellence has been absolutely wonderful. I love the motivational interviewing part. I learned a lot. I learned to be a active listener of the member and kind of like guide that conversation so I learned a lot. It was a great experience. It actually, it helped me kind of build some of those tools that I already used towards helping the members with those issues. So it helped me kind of better use those tools in helping them. One thing that really helped me was motivational interviewing. It really showed me a better way to approach our members, and open up, and engage them in conversations to get them to talk about the underlying issues that come up. It was actually really wonderful. The format for it was really easy to understand and use. And I was able to get a lot of new resources that I didn’t have before to help our members. The motivational interviewing I think was the best part, the thing I got the most out of. Really helped to engage the members and kind of pull out the additional information you need and really help them feel a part of managing their care. It was a great experience, a lot of learning. It’s funny, Ming said the same things I was going to say. I enjoyed motivation interviewing learning, especially reflective listening, that’s an important skill to build a rapport with the members. Well, it was a user friendly process. I was able to understand it. It was simple. And if I had any difficulty, I called the customer service number and the staff was helpful [inaudible]. I really enjoyed Care Excellence. I think what I took away from Care Excellence was the emotional intelligence. I think it’s important to be in touch with your emotions, as well as manage the emotions of others. So what I got out of Care Excellence was the importance of case managing, making sure that we are taking care of our members by being able to pull information from them with using techniques such as motivational interviewing. We love Care Excellence.
